Active system

  • From close-field listening in the studio to keyboard monitoring on stage or as a small PA system MT160A will raise your enthusiasm with its sonic quality, impressive acoustic pressure and extremely linear frequency response.
    Its unequalled versatility makes it ideal for an unlimited range of applications both indoor and outdoor: as floor monitor or foldback system on a keyboard rack, as mini-PA system for live music, piano-bar, conferences, talk-shows, restaurants, pubs, small auditoriums and venues, in the home studio, gymnasiums, shops, places of worship and many many other situations.

  • 6 and half inches full bandwidth loudspeaker (with diecast frame, coaxial double cone and treated cellulose diaphragm), custom designed to Montarbo specifications. Tough, efficient, accurate even at extreme frequencies, with great benefits on long-distance sound projection.

  • Built-in processor controlled class AB MosFet amplifier designed to deliver both high power and sonic accuracy.
    Output power: 80 W.

  • 3-input mic/line level mixer, fitted with:
    - 1 microphone jack input (-40dB sensitivity, 2kOhms impedance) with level control;
    - 2 mixable line jack inputs (-10dB sensitivity, 22kOhms impedance) with level control;
    - peak LED indicator.
    - 1,2kHz EQ filter that improves the projection of sound (to get far listeners much closer to your show).
    - 1 line jack output. To feed another MT160A, a tape recorder or a mixer.

  • Low turbolence tuning port for better sound definition at low frequencies.

  • Two 45° sidewalls: more freedom in placing the system on floor, desktop or other surface.

  • Mounting hardware (threaded inserts). Lets you mount the system in a couple of seconds.

  • Accessories: SM2 microphone stand adapter.

  • In the applications requiring an extension of the low frequency response, the MT160A combines perfectly with the Montarbo active subwoofer 112SA, with built-in stereo electronic crossover.
