Montarbo was Technical Partner of Il Jazz Italiano per le Terre del Sisma, supporting the 12th edition of the festival, “Riflessi”, held in L’Aquila on 5 and 6 September, for the second consecutive year.
The event transformed the city into a widespread stage, with more than 300 artists performing across over 20 locations, including theatres, courtyards, museums, churches and public spaces. With performances taking place in such different environments, the festival required sound systems capable of adapting to a wide range of spaces and production needs.
Montarbo provided solutions from across its professional range, with the Nettuno series playing a central role throughout the event. The Nettuno L28 line array system, paired with Nettuno S182 subwoofers, was used for larger live setups, providing the consistent coverage and controlled sound distribution required to address wider audience areas.
The Nettuno range also covered the other essential elements of live sound reinforcement. Nettuno T12 and T15 provided compact yet powerful top solutions, while the Nettuno W12 and W15 were used as wedge monitors on stage. This combination reflects the versatility of the Nettuno platform, covering the different roles required in a professional live production, from main PA systems to stage monitoring.
Alongside Nettuno, Montarbo’s R Series was also deployed in smaller and more contained venues, where more compact solutions were better suited to the spaces and their specific requirements. The combination of the two ranges allowed Montarbo systems to adapt to the very different environments involved in a city-wide festival.
For an event such as Il Jazz Italiano per le Terre del Sisma, where music moves through the city and every location becomes part of the experience, the ability to scale and adapt the sound system is essential. From larger outdoor and concert setups to more intimate venues, Montarbo’s solutions supported the festival’s diverse programme while maintaining a consistent approach to professional sound reinforcement.
The second year of the partnership also marked the renewal of the collaboration with Stage Sound&Light, led by Michele Innocenzi, whose technical expertise played an important role throughout the event. The team worked alongside Montarbo across the various technical and operational aspects, helping to get the best possible performance from the systems and ensuring they could fully express their potential in each of the different event locations.
